Breif Description: Marked for death by a biker gang , ex-Marine convict Tim Kearney ( Paul Walker ) just got one last chance to walk out of jail alive . A scheming DEA agent ( Laurence Fishburne ) needs somebody to impersonate recently deceased drug-lord Bobby Z ... and Tim happens to be a dead ringer . It's a risky proposition , but if Tim plays his part right , he may be able to claim Bobby Z's smoking-hot ex-girlfriend (Olivia Wilde ) and a cool fortune in illegal profits. Unfortunatly , taking on Bobby Z's name also means taking on his bloodthirsty enemies. Caught in the crossfire , Tim runs for his life as he tries to find a way out of his deadly masquerade.

My thoughts : It's a ok movie . The acting is really good and so are the action scenes . You might want to rent it before you buy it though because this is one of those movies that probably isn't to everyone's liking.

For my first movie review I'm going to review the movie a Scanner Darkly . I will hopefully be able to include a pic of the cover if I can figure out how to do that . If I can't it would be nice if someone could tell me how to use pics on here . I'm also going to tell you what it says on the back of the box that way incase you have never saw the movie before you will be able to find out a little about the story without knowing everything incase you decide to watch the movie I review that day . Besides that I'm going to tell you who stars in it , the genre it is , and my thoughts on the movie. Paragraphs like this one aren't going to be on every review this one is just to help everyone out with what the basic layout of the reviews are going to be like . So lets get to the review.

The time : just beyond now . The place : suburbia . The story: a twisted , funny tale of people hooked on Substance D . And of a government that cheerfully destroys it's citizens - their rights , their relationships - in order to save them . Robert Downey Jr. , Woody Harrelson , Winona Ryder , and Rory Cochrane play strung-out friends terrified of each other and spies . Keanu Reeves plays a spy who's also one of the friends ... until his two personalities begin to split . Enjoy the paranoia . Nobody's watching you . Really.

My thoughts : The movie tells a good story . I also thought the acting was really good . Plus the animation in this film is amazingly cool . Also if you do rent it I highly suggest watching the bonus features to because they are very informative and tell you a lot about the movie . This movie is easily worth buying . I highly recommend it.
