Life As We Know It [August Edition]


August 1st: A new busy month! Woohoo! I'm so confused as to how many months I am. My doctor goes by weeks and not by months, so when people ask me and I tell them how many weeks I am and they then reply back asking me how many months it is, I always reply I don't know. There's three different charting you could go off and that's why it confuses me.

Charting 1 is where your due date is actually at the end of your 9th month, and if you go over due, you'd be 10 months pregnant. If I followed this chart, I'll be 4 months on the 7th.

Charting 2 is the simple, " I'm due on Jan. 22nd, so every the 22nd of every month is another month ". If I followed that, I wouldn't be 4 months until August 22nd (which is why I am NOT following this one)

Charting 3 is where you count the first 4 weeks as a month, so, I would be 4 months already and would actually be going into my 5th month in about 20 days.

I think I am going to go with the third one, just because it makes it seem the pregnancy is going faster! But the first one has it's perks because I would be 9 months on Christmas! Lol. Anywho, I know I wasn't planning on having my baby shower until November, but I don't think with Thanksgiving and then Christmas and then the baby coming one after the other that we would really have time to finish getting the rest of the stuff we'd need for Tristan that we didn't get at the baby shower. 30 weeks would be nice, but it just doesn't seem like enough time. By the time I'm that pregnant, I'll be going to the doctor EVERY week and like I said all those holidays! Although, I don't want to have my baby shower anytime around the time Tabbie has hers. I hope she has hers at the BEGINNING of October so I can have my around the end, but then again, that's Halloween, which sucks. Whatever though. I'll figure it out by the end of next month. Adrian and I are doing pretty good. He starts his classes soon and in addition, he has to see a counselor every couple of weeks. I know it's asking alot, but if he really wants to be there in mine, Mikayla's & Tristan's life, then it won't matter to him. My next doctor appointment is in two weeks. I can't wait to see my little man and how big he's gotten since the last time I've seen him! I think I'm actually becoming excited about having another baby! Lol.

August 3rd: I am VERY self conscious about my belly. It's not cute like Jello's (the other preggo I'm hanging with). It looks like wrinklyness straightened out. DO NOT come up to me and pull my shirt up. Not only will I cuss you out, but I might punch you also. :D You can rub the belly all you want, it's nice and firm! When I get sumo sized and I actually look pregnant, I will not mind you seeing my barebelly, anywho. Today was Adrian & I's anniversary. We were suppose to go to North Carolina, but I really didn't feel like sitting in a car all day. So, instead, we all did a family outing thing and went to Hollywood Connection. We had a very good time. Mikayla hit the jackpot! Woot Woot (of course with help from her mommy!). The only thing that worried me the whole time today was Mikayla would NOT acknowledge Tristan. She usually says that Tristan's her baby , but when I brought him up, she said that she was my baby, not him and throughout the day had her moments of clingy-ness where she was in dire need for me to hold her! Argh, I really hope she won't be like this when he gets here!

August 4th: I registered Mikayla for school today :] She is now officially a STUDENT! Woot Woot! Go baby! Lol, anyways, my rant for today is I don't know who I can trust. People get on my nerves. We put something in words, but never follow through with it and I'm sick of people like that because when nothing happens it makes me doubt that YOU'RE telling the truth... I'm sick of people bullshitting and I'm sick of not being able to trust people. I think I'll be friends with them, I'll just keep my distance.

August 9th: Wow, I haven't updated in a week. Hm, Mikayla starts school on Monday and she's very excited as am I. She's gonna have a crowd there! Lol, my aunt and my sister and my brother in law and my other aunt will all be there. Haha. Lately, I've been having alot of pelvic pain. Sometimes it's dull and it's just annoying or sometimes it's so bad where it hurts to move. I have to get up from a sitting position really slow or else it huts. I'll ask the doctor about it on Friday when I go to my doctor appointment. When I was at the DMV, Tristan was just so active. He was driving me crazy! Lol, my pelvic area was already hurting and with him doing whatever he was doing didn't make it any better! But, I do have a date on Tueday after work at the Vortex with my man (in Atlanta). I already told him I'm taking lots of pics. From what the website says, it has strippers. Lol. No wonder Adrian suggested it. But they have quesadillas so I am definitely going. Lol.
