Gran Turismo Movie Confirmed by Sony, No Details Available

Relying on the branding of the well-known childrens tale Snow White , but re-branded it as a darker adult story that moves beyond the famous Walt Disney animated feature film. It wouldnt surprise me if a sequel makes its way to theaters in the coming years. Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters made more than $225 million at the worldwide box office, with a budget of $50 million. This is another adult re-imagining of a classic childrens story, satirical and violent but still retaining the recognizable brand name that helped audiences recognize the concept. A sequel is almost guaranteed in light of how profitable the first film proved to be. Salt took home nearly $400 Kim Kardashian full video million at theaters around the world, off a $110 million production budget.

After the villain overload in Spider-Man 3, its no wonder many are buzzing about the abundance of bad guys in Marc Webbs The Amazing Spider-Man 2. But, based on some comments made during Comic Con, it seems as though there could be a very good reason for including Electro, Rhino, Norman Osborn (Green Goblin), Harry Osborn (Venom, Hobgoblin, Green Goblin), and possibly Black Cat and Adrian Tomes (Vulture) in the sequel and that reason is the Sinister Six. During a chat with Movies.com , when asked about coming back for more Spider-Man movies, Jamie Foxx said, Ill put it to you this way: you dont really kill electricity; it just goes to another place. But then he dropped the clincher: You know, Electro was always tempted by the Sinister Six, so well see. Then, while talking to Crave Online , Marc Webb proposed, What about The Gentleman? When the reporter probed for more, Webb simply insisted, Im just saying Theres your little tidbit. Think about The Gentleman. Clearly Webbs got something seemingly solid brewing because The Gentleman is from Spider-Man: The Gathering of The Sinister Six; hes the wealthy benefactor behind the Sinister Six.

Quite a few game-based movies are currently being made in Hollywood, some with more chances to hit the silver screen than others. Earlier this week, a report surfaced that claimed a movie based on the Gran Turismo racing series would appear in the near future, coming from Michael de Luca and Dana Brunetti, the producers previously responsible for The Social Network or Fifty Shades of Grey. While Sony has made no statement after the rumor hit, a UK representative, talking to Joystiq , has confirmed that the Gran Turismo movie is "being made." Unfortunately, no details can be shared at this time, so it's unclear what the movie will feature, besides racing, and what actors might appear in it. FILED UNDER:

Movie review: The Way, Way Back never feels fully engaged

Seeing Duncan sit by himself one day, Owen decides to take the lost little gosling under his water wings and teach him a thing or two about becoming a man. On the surface these manly lessons of wisdom are pathetic: how to ogle and objectify women in bikinis, how to be a jerk at the pool and how to wear the pair of jeans your mother bought for you at Kim Kardashian photo shoot Costco. Yet a little read bit deeper down we can see thereas a real brotherly bond developing between Owen and Duncan that heals them both, and this is where screenwriter-directors Rash and Faxon could have really scored some huge points. All they needed to do was give Rockwell and James a couple front page of tender moments together that didnat feel like a Big Brothers training video, or a Dane Cook monologue. Rockwell is clearly capable of delivering these subtle turns of character because heas done it in everything from Seven Psychopaths to Moon. Heas a natural charmer.
