iPhone to Verizon Rumors

Most likely, many people already know about this, but then again, many may not. Several sources say that Verizon, the largest mobile company who missed out on the iPhone, will be getting them early in 2011. These claims are almost officially confirmed, given that the sources are all very credible. Also, I read that the elusive white iPhone 4 may be available to Verizon. This news is very interesting and I would like to see how many people on Android will switch to Apple the very first day. Also, Verizon had so many iPhone-bashing campaigns so those meetings must have been awkward.

Sony Playstation Phone Coming to Us Next Year

With "next year" being a few days away, this news is pretty exciting. It has also been around for a little while, so my talking about it is very late. Regardless, this is fun news since I have always liked the PSP and always felt it had much room for improvement. Sadly, Sony is always the first to innovate, only to see their idea improved by others and then lose the industry. Imagine, Sony more or less invented the idea of the personal media player. Remember the Walkman? They really did that first. Nowadays, where can you see someone with a Sony MP3 player? Apple has easily dominated the market. PSP was one the first portable devices with WiFi support, but it was so poorly designed, it never became popular. The ergonomics of the device sucked also. Whose idea was it to have one joystick? Well, many other devices, namely iPhone/iPod Touch and Android, dominate that market now. It's good to see Sony get something coming out for having the idea first. It'll run Android, though, but hopefully the games will be very cool.

Mysteries of the World: Toynbee Tiles

Based on what I've read on the matter, these are quotations from 2001: Space Odyssey. They are popping all over the country and world and no one is sure who put them there or what they are really referring to. Personally, I have seen them in the streets of Philadelphia, and it's creepier after knowing what they are. Supposedly they are pieces of plastic melted onto the pavement and can have some different images/writing. Again, we're not sure if they're by one person or a series of copycats or whatever, but interesting no less. Could they a message from another world? Likely not.

Free iPhone Game: Invader

From App Store:

The Invader creates the new genre of game which combines shooting and defense. Developer group "GAMEHUNTER" who are well-known as developers of “Coast Defense – Reloaded” created this fabulous game.

Mobilize your invader machine to conquer the Earth and defend the Invader machine from powerful human-rebels. The human-rebels own various weapons and unique skills to fight back. Be careful with their EMP(stops your machine for short term), and Spider Bomb(pops up randomly with huge damage)

In the game, Invader uses "Heatup-Bullet System" which makes your machine in slow mode to cool off the quick-fired weapons.

If you fire weapons continuously, your machine will enter into slow motion for a while as one of the scene of movie "Matrix". Be careful with cooling time to avoid enemies' attack or crush your enemies by overriding them.

Enjoy the perfect harmony of shooting-defense game, and a wide variety of weapons and items in 3 different levels (Easy, Normal, and Hard)."
