The best way to experience Split is from aboard a catamaran

Hi sailing fans, my name is Dinko and I would like to share with all of you a story from my last summer vacation. You are probably wondering what was so special about my last summer vacation and why do I have the need to talk about it?!

The answer is simple. Catamaran. I wanted to do something wild, something I have never done before, so I contacted a company by the name of Sailing Europe and I chartered a catamaran.

For my destination, I have chosen the city of Split because I am a big fan of their football club – Hajduk.

My chartered catamaran Lagoon 380 was waiting for me in Sibenik, from where I sailed to Split. Sailing to Split was the most awesome experience of my life. The wind was strong and that made me feel as much alive as possible, and when docking in to ACI marina Split, I was a little worried that the wind will turn the catamaran upside down, but Lagoon 380 had proven why he is one of the best catamarans out there.

I also need to mention how the staff of the ACI marina Split was welcoming, helpful and professional.

When my anchoring was over, naturally the first thing I wanted to see was the stadium of my favorite club. I took some pictures of the stadium and since there wasn’t a game that day, I had no business staying there any longer, so I decided to hit the beach.

Split´s most famous beach is called Bačvice, and it was there that I meet a few hardcore Hajduk fans who immediately liked me when I said that I to am a big Hajduk fan. For the next couple of hours, I stayed with them and enjoyed participating in their local beach game Picigin. When playing was over, my new found friends were kind enough to show me other beautiful side of Split, the historic side. They had taken me to see the Diocletian’s Palace, the cathedral of St. Duje, Diocletian's mausoleum, and their waterfront Riva. Al I had to say about that was awesome, simply awesome.

It was time for me to go home. I said goodbye to my friends, and sailing back towards the base in Sibenik, I could not stop thinking about all the beauties I had seen in the amazing town of Slip and how much fun I had that day.

Thats is way I recommend www.ayachtchartersplit.com as my booking agent for Split sailing adventure
