Turning a Mac ON

Apple attains a second position in the world in the list of a mobile manufacturing company. iPhone produced by Apple have a great demand in the market and it is increasing as the time passes. Sometimes Mac creates a lot of problems when a user turns it ON. There might be many reasons for Mac not turning ON. To get its solution user can click on the above-provided link or can follow the given points. 

This article summarizes the reasons of Mac not turning ON and its solutions. 

  • Checking power connection- Make sure that power cable is connected to the power slot properly, if it is a laptop make sure that battery is not discharged, if it is charge it for a while. 

  • Change power cable- It might be possible that the reason for Mac not turning it ON is a faulty power cable. Change the power cable and try to turn the Mac ON again. 

  • Disconnect everything from Mac- It might be possible that different peripherals connected to a Mac are creating problems. Disconnect all the peripherals and try to turn it ON again. 

  • Power cycle- If above points don't work out, perform power cycle. Power cycle means forcing the Mac to turn OFF.  

      For this press and hold the power key at least for six-seven seconds. Turn ON the Mac after ten-fifteen seconds following the same procedure.  

  • Display- Sometimes it happens that Mac turns ON but display is not working. In this case problem is with the display. Make sure that all cables are connected properly to Mac. 

   Switch OFF and turn ON the display again. 

  • Disk utility in recover mode- Sometimes its possible that Mac gets turned ON but the operating system is not working. Solution for this problem is to run disk utility in recovery mode.
