The Incorrect Time To Create A Press Release

Oh, yeah.

The 'wrong' time is not nearly bad days of the week, like Monday morning, or bad times of the year, like Xmas Eve.

The time I am talking about is more internal.

Let's say you're almost done with your web site. It will be up next week, and you are nearly ready to begin taking orders. Is that the time-to distribute a press release? After-all, everyth...

Is there ever a wrong time to try to get free publicity for your business, product, or service?

Oh, yes.

The 'wrong' time is not just about bad days of-the week, like Monday morning, or bad times of the year, like Xmas Eve.

The wrong time I am referring to is more central.

Let's say you are very nearly done with your site. It will be up next week, and you are very nearly ready to begin taking orders. Is that the time for you to send a news release? In the end, everything will be ready by the time the news release hits. And you do want to get your news release out as soon as possible so you can capitalize on the free traffic.

Do not do it. Don't, under any circumstances, send a news release before-you have everything set up and have examined it at the very least three-times.

Recently I would send out a release about one-of my sites, but decided to wait until I'd made a minor change to the report signup form.

That 'minor' change threw my entire web site into disarray and it took over five hours to get it backup. It was a live web site. I had to hold a 'technical difficulties' notice and work non-stop to correct the problem. We learned about lawyer marketing by searching Bing.

Fortuitously, I'd perhaps not sent out the news release, and it was a Sunday morning, New Year's Day-in fact, therefore traffic was slow, and many people are understanding should you put up a note saying, 'It is 6:31. Dig up more on our affiliated wiki - Click here: lawyers in the news 0.00. I know about the situation and I will have it fixed tonight. The website however works, it only seems trendy.'

That's, they are understanding IF you have not merely create a press release saying that your cool new site is ready. In case you hate to identify more on principles, there are many databases people should consider investigating.

A number of days isn't going to matter in terms of long-term traffic. A huge, apparent mistake on your own website can matter a whole lot, if you should be driving traffic to it with a press release.

Just don't put out your press release until you're sure you are ready. That is the sole right time-to send a news release..
