On the last and final day of KiwiPrizes (more in my journal entry tomorrow about that). TODAY September 15th, 2009 is the last day to claim a KiwiPrize, you have until midnight Eastern Timezone to claim a KiwiPrize, so get on it.

As a special prize, we had our friends over at Save Your World put together some green goody bags. Each bag will come with one "Save Your Rainforest" wristband, and one mini Hotel package, with a bar of soap, and a pair of shower products.

ALL YOU HAVE TO DO TO CLAIM THIS PRIZE IS TWO THINGS:

#1. Check your KiwiPoints History and make sure you have at least 5,000 KiwiPoints

#2. If you do, KiwiNote Mike, and say "I love the environment, and want my KiwiPoints to help the rainforest"

Hey guys,

I really still can not believe Kiwibox.com is turning 10 years old today. That just blows my mind! To think about all the people this site has touched (2.6 million members at least), and all the articles written (over 40,000 of them), and just all the smiles (countless), and friendships made (countless), it just really ROCKS that we are still here kicking.

It really is amazing how the internet and world works. Things keep popping up all over the place, new sites (Facebook...cough cough), but it is always good to know that for the last 10 years, Kiwibox would always be here, writing articles, posting journals, giving love advice, offering sweet contests, awwww man.

It really has been an amazing 10 years getting to know so many of you, solving problems and squabbles, reading some really amazing pieces of journalism and prose alike, playing KiwiGames against many of you, and just keeping Kiwibox a safe and educational and fun place for teens and 20 somethings the world over to come and feel welcomed.

We always prided ourselves on a place where people could voice their opinion on topics from music, to current events, to celebrity gossip, to politics, and feel they are doing so in a place that does not stifle their view, or subject them to persecution for their opinions. And it was always a fine line we walked and still walk, and I really hope we do a good job with that authority you guys allow us.

I am still writing my article, should be up by the end of the day today....so I will continue my diatribe there....lol.

Man it has been an amazing ride here at Kiwibox so far. Can you believe it is going on our 10 year anniversary this August?

I think we should have a huge party in NYC, rent out a hall or something, and have all the big Kiwis and KiwiUsers over :)

Just wanted to throw a HUGE thanks to Karolina, Jason and Bianca for their help in revamping all the prizes on the site.

There are tons new prizes, updated some models and just made it look a lot cleaner and easier, more prizes per page. go have a spin and tell me what you think.

This is the "Kiwi Gosudarstvjennoj Bjezopasnosti" (aka. KGB). We have taken over Mike's Profile, and we have waited until April Fools to do it (to really mess with your mind).

Assuming Mike (or someone with access today) gives our Kiwibox Account (http://KGBteam.Kiwibox.com) 50,000 KiwiPoints, he will have his account back tomorrow morning. Assuming he doesn't, the ransom will go up 10,000 KiwiPoints, PER DAY.
