I Met Ann Pancake Today!

Today was a good day. I met the college's common book author Ann Pancake, and got to talk to her. She was really nice. Her book is a very interesting read. If you ever have the chance, take a look at As Strange As This Weather Has Been.

I have a few exams to study for and math to catch up in, so I don't know if I'll be able to write for the next few days. Of course I might squeeze it in.

Vince is in California now! I'm excited for him. I still want him home soon though. I miss him way too much. But I'm doing much better than I thought I would. I think the distance was a good thing. It's letting us be "Brittany" and "Vince", not BRITTANYANDVINCE.

That's all I have to say for now. I wrote a HUGE To Do list so I really need to work on that now. Yay for cleaning the room! Talk to you all later!

Nothing in Particular

Last night I went to a Halloween party that my mom's friend was having. It was pretty fun after they stopped playing slow country music. I love country music, but at a dance party, at least play fast paced ones that people can dance to.

Otherwise it was lots of fun! I was a red devil. There wasn't any other college kids there until the very end, and they didn't really do anything but sit in a corner and talk. So they were boring haha.

Today I really need to get my math homework done. And I'm still waiting for a phone call back from my boyfriend. He's done with his job training so I'm excited for him to go to California with his other military family members, so he won't be alone.
That is pretty much it for today.

Freaking Out!

I have a lab exam tomorrow. This is my first lab exam ever, so I'm really worried! I'm sure I'll pass, but I am still nervous.

My boyfriend graduates from his job training this week so I'm hoping I'll see him on Thanksgiving. He is going to try and come home then. If not, I'll at least see him for Christmas.

I feel really behind in school, mostly because I got alot of busy work. I take notes because it sticks better that way, so alot of time is wasted.

Well I should probably go study. Wish me luck for tomorrow!

Rude People

My mother always told me if you have nothing nice to say don't say anything at all.

I really do not understand why people can be so hurtful and cruel to others online. For example:
On one of my contest sites, people were telling an entry how stupid it was, when all the contest was about is a black and white picture. ANY picture. So it is very pointless to be rude about a picture, when everyone's picture is black and white as well.

Another thing I worry about is why they do this. Obviously they get pleasure from hurting others, but no one likes to receive the anger back.

I also am a bit annoyed with Kiwibox users. For one, yes the site has changed, but some are acting like its the end of the world. I just use Kiwibox for getting issues off my chest, and to check email, so of course it's not that big of a deal to me. I do not think its fair to not get prizes when you have received them, but honestly all the user did was press a button. Are you really going to be mad for not getting a prize from pushing a button? It's annoying, yes, but not worth arguing and verbally abusing the owners over.

I just want people to get along, and it is very hard when I have been verbally attacked so many times on here, for absolutely nothing. It's not just kiwibox, its the whole net.

I think a lot of the problem is the secret identity online. You can basically say whatever you want and no one can do anything about it. Sadly a girl committed suicide by verbal attacks on the internet.

Hopefully in the end we can all be civil human beings and treat each other with respect regardless of our individual opinions.

Feeling Good

I got all my homework done before the day it was due, and it feel so great to not have to worry about it! I really need to use the rest of my day doing some catch up homework, but I'll do that around 5:00pm.

I am really missing my Marine. He is almost done with his job training! Just one more week! He says he is going to try and come home for Thanksgiving. He is really missing me. I miss him too, but I'm so busy with school, I don't really have time to sit and think about it much. He still calls me everyday with nothing to talk about. So that hasn't changed. Haha!

Something that I have been doing religiously for the past few months has been entering contests and supporting Charity: Water. If you got a chance check out my site :

http://mycharitywater.org/BritBritNSBDay

This site basically donates its money to countries that do not have clean water systems. I though it was a good cause to pick because it didn't exclude other countries (since Africa seems to be everyone's focus these days) and it helps the community, not just a family. Charity: Water tracks its progress too, so you know exactly where the money is going. If you want to join the site please let me invite you so I get credit though. Thanks!

I have also entered some contests. They run on votes so to win I need votes. Here is my site:

www.brickfish.com/britbritns

If you vote I want to thank you ahead of time. If you like to enter contests you should join too. It's usually just a photo, blog, or design that you enter. No major work. Fun cash prizes and sometimes trips and/or makeovers! Yes, guys can win things too. They have electronic prizes too!
